Trendyootech Apps (“we,” “us,” or “our”) develops high-utility Android software with privacy as a foundational principle. This Privacy Policy details the data practices, permissions, and security controls of the ClearNow AI Android application (Package: com.trendyootech.clearnow).

ClearNow AI helps users manage phone storage by identifying exact duplicates, visually similar photos, screenshots, and large video files. This document details how we handle device permissions, how on-device media analysis functions, and how user privacy is preserved.

ClearNow AI requires specific Android permissions solely to inspect media files that you choose to analyze. The app does not collect personal contact lists, location data, microphone recordings, or phone call logs.

Depending on your Android OS version, requested permissions include:

• Android 13+ (API 33+): READ_MEDIA_IMAGES and READ_MEDIA_VIDEO to analyze user-stored images and videos.
• Android 14+ (API 34+): Full support for the Selected / Limited Photo Access dialog, enabling you to grant access to specific folders or photos rather than your full library.
• Older Android Releases: READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE where applicable on older versions, restricted to reading standard media content.

Important: ClearNow AI does not request or utilize MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access) or unsupported raw file system bypasses.

ClearNow AI only accesses the photos and videos that you permit through Android’s official permission framework.

The app reads media headers, dimensions, timestamps, and pixel buffers locally to perform duplicate detection and quality scoring. Your photos and videos are never uploaded to TRENDYOO TECH servers or any remote cloud storage. We do not offer or perform cloud backup.

Core media intelligence is executed 100% locally on your physical device.

ClearNow AI utilizes deterministic on-device algorithms:

• Exact Duplicates: Cryptographic and block hashing to identify byte-identical copies.
• Similar Photos: Local perceptual similarity algorithms that cluster burst shots and near-identical angles.
• Best Pick: Local image quality heuristics evaluating composition, sharpness, and focus to suggest the best photo in a similar group by default.
• Screenshots & Large Videos: Local file path heuristics, resolution detection, and byte size checks.

ClearNow AI does not upload your personal media to third-party generative AI models or remote machine learning pipelines.

ClearNow AI caches operational metadata in the application’s sandboxed internal storage:

• Android MediaStore identifiers and content URIs
• File size, timestamps, and MIME types
• Analysis hashes and perceptual similarity features
• Duplicate and similarity group classification records
• Local cleanup history logs and cleanup goal targets
• App preferences and advertising privacy consent status

This metadata stays strictly within the app’s private sandboxed directory on your device.

ClearNow AI never silently deletes user media. Every cleanup action follows this explicit flow:

1. Scan: Local inspection of user-approved media.
2. Review: Items are categorized into SAFE (extra duplicate copies), REVIEW (similar photos, screenshots, large videos), and KEEP (protected originals).
3. User Selection: The user manually reviews items and selects files for removal.
4. Confirmation: The user confirms the action within the app.
5. Android System Dialog: The official Android system prompt requests user confirmation to move files to trash or permanently delete them via MediaStore APIs.
6. Result: ClearNow rescans to display observed storage changes.

ClearNow AI is free to download and is supported by advertising delivered via Google AdMob. Displayed formats may include:

• App Open ads
• Adaptive Banner ads
• Native ads
• Interstitial ads
• Rewarded ads (optional video ads that users voluntarily choose to view to unlock features such as Large Video Cleanup or the Smart Space Plan)

Standard duplicate and screenshot review remains available without viewing rewarded ads. Advertisements never influence media analysis results or cleanup recommendations.

In regions governed by privacy regulations (such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area/UK, and US state privacy laws), ClearNow AI presents the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent modal.

Users can choose personalized or non-personalized ads and adjust or revoke consent at any time via the application’s Settings or Support screen.

ClearNow AI does not use standalone marketing analytics or tracking frameworks. No Google Analytics for Firebase, Facebook Analytics, or external user-tracking SDKs are bundled in this application.

Basic technical telemetry (such as aggregated ad impressions, network fill rates, and crash diagnostics provided natively by Google AdMob and Google Play Services) is processed by Google to maintain service reliability.

Trendyootech Apps does not sell, rent, or trade user photos or videos. Data transmitted externally is limited strictly to advertising and system infrastructure providers:

• Google AdMob & Google Play Services: May receive device identifiers (Advertising ID where permitted), IP address for approximate regional ad routing, and ad engagement statistics.
• Google UMP: Retains consent preference tokens to communicate your choices to advertising networks.

Because ClearNow AI maintains no external user database:

• All on-device feature hashes, analysis caches, and cleanup logs remain solely on your device.
• Clearing app storage in Android Settings or uninstalling ClearNow AI immediately and irreversibly wipes all local application records.
• Data processed by Google advertising partners is governed by Google’s data retention policies.

We employ industry-standard engineering measures to safeguard user data, principally through an on-device architecture that eliminates remote server photo transmissions.

While we apply thorough precautions within our software, no electronic storage or mobile application environment can be guaranteed completely immune to potential hardware or OS-level security vulnerabilities.

ClearNow AI is a general utility designed for phone storage organization and is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

You have complete control over ClearNow AI on your Android device:

• Revoke Permissions: Manage media permissions at any time via Android Settings → Apps → ClearNow AI → Permissions.
• Limited Media Access: On Android 14+, restrict access to specific photos or albums.
• Reset Ad Consent: Revisit Google UMP consent preferences via the app menu, or reset your Android Advertising ID via Settings → Google → Ads.
• Clear App Storage: Wipe all local caches via Settings → Apps → ClearNow AI → Storage → Clear Data.
• Uninstall App: Removing the app permanently purges all sandboxed data.

ClearNow AI incorporates the following third-party developer frameworks:

• Google AdMob (Advertising and monetization)
• Google Play Services (Core Android runtime support)
• Google User Messaging Platform (Consent management)

We may revise this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect app enhancements, Android permission updates, or regulatory obligations. The revised policy will be posted on this URL with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of ClearNow AI following updates indicates agreement with the revised terms.
