Google Play Account Deletion Policy Overview
In accordance with Google Play's User Data and Account Deletion policies, users of TN Scheme Finder: Govt Schemes have the right to request permanent deletion of their account credentials and all associated personal data.
This public web resource allows you to initiate account deletion without requiring you to have the application currently installed on your device.
What Data is Deleted Upon Request
When your account deletion is processed, our database permanently and irrevocably deletes:
- Google SSO account authentication record and email
- User eligibility criteria profile (age bracket, occupation, district, optional community/income band)
- Saved and bookmarked Tamil Nadu government schemes
- Notification tokens and scheme alert history
Data Retention & Retention Period
Retention Policy: No personal data retained. We never store Aadhaar numbers, bank accounts, or government portal credentials.
Timeframe: All user profile records in Supabase are wiped within 7 business days.
How to Delete Your Account
Open TN Scheme Finder → Tap Settings (gear icon) → Select 'Edit Profile' → Tap 'Delete Account' at the bottom → Confirm.
